007 Garden and Living Wall

I'm utterly speechless. This is sexy as hell...

Bold Exteriors

Clipper Street Residence: Renovation and Design by envelope a+d. A striking dark exterior gets me every time. The garden, which sadly we cannot see, is designed by Flora Grubb Gardens.

Dwell Gallery - Patrick Blanc

If you enjoy Dwell Magazine like I do, you need to peruse their new and improved photo gallery. You can read the articles too for free!

This garden apartment appeared several years ago and I was delighted to find it (again) in the archives. "Botanist Patrick Blanc has been bringing the wilds of the rainforests to Parisian walls for over 30 years, most recently at the Jean Nouvel–designed Quai Branly museum. One lucky family, however, doesn’t have to go any farther than their living room to take in the wonders of Blanc’s vertical gardens." Go here for more.

" The Dimanches' indoor garden wall is 20 by 23 feet, dominating the living room in the best possible way."

Living Green - Marin Garden

San Francisco based Living Green created this texture rich, modern garden in Marin County. The house, which you cannot see, is a renovated Eichler home.

Rough Luxe - London

Gaelle Le Boulicaut

How about a little fantasy on this cold and rainy afternoon? The luscious light and exotic locations (courtesy of french-based photographer Gaelle Le Boulicaut) inspire sunnier thoughts.

Gardens in the Sky

My heart is a flutter for the amazing green roofs created by Gardens in the Sky. Terry McGlade is the creative, dynamic and forward-thinking horticulturalist, landscape designer and founder of this Toronto based company. This man is a visionary in the green roof industry.
